Dear max
Every course have its own scope and Coverage.
NIIT is a very good institute in india.and Generally known to Indian Comopanies.
But before getting admission Ask some Questions to NIIT
Will you provide placement after the course. Not Placement is not such that you will earn from 3000 to 5000 in a small city or in Banglore you will earn 10000+
These all is put you in a hell.
You need to work and work But no company will pay you enough after the course if Passed Out.

Second Thing There are Many Centers in India. (NIIT)
Ask What will be the Education standards They will follow.
Does there faculty is qualified enough to teach the subject.
Ask the subject you will taught covers the topic in depth.(Genarally it seems the computer centers in India Sells only Brand Names Not Subject)

The Selection is any company is like This (Means The sorting cof candidates)

First Preference BTech Students or BS Students
Second Preference BE Holders
Thirds Prefernce MCA
Forth Prefernce MSc IT
Fifth 3 Year Diploma Holders from any Technical Institute
Sixs Some what InterNational Certification like MCSE/CCNP/MCSD/
Then Comes The Computer Centers Students
NIIT or Aptech or SSI or IIHT

So it is always a better Idea to get admission in Technical Institute.

You may be lucky if you found a good faculty in your desired institute. And a good Placement Cell.
Not Place ment Does not mean of getting a job worth 3000 after paying Approx 1 Lacks Rs.
If you don't have any choice then go for computer Center.
As I see in my past experience that The Center Manager Don't Think Qulity they think the Less Salaried Employee. You will Surprise to know the faculty From Many Good Brand Earns Less salary then a Forth Class Employee from a govt Body. Starting from 1000 Rs.
So Think How can He will teach Better. If he is unable to Struggle in his own life.
Some Salary Scale I found in Real Environment
ZedCA Starting from 1000 to Trainers
ET&T Starting From 2000 to Trainers
Aptech Starting 1500 to Trainers
NIIT Starting From 3000 to Trainers
IIHT Starting from 10000 to trainers
This Salary is from B Grade Town
calculate in Your city if you live in Metro
In Metro Salary starts from 8000 and finish at 9000 Just They will hire another employee.

I guess you can understand the Scope After the Course.
Note The Marketting staff always commits to Give you the best package in the industry. Ask them to Give you a stamp paper Gurentee. Don't Forget to ask them the gurentee will be continue even if they looses the center. Don't rely on the Fake Persons.
Rest is your luck and choice
Regards
Alok

Thesedays, it is the proficiency which counts. If you are adapt in your profession, sincere and have the requisite skills, the source of degree is secondary. I hope NIIT stands to be one of the finest deemed universities and has value in the market. Simply by being professionally managed by scientific methods NIIT puts the student in high ranking.
