LimeWire did that to me and I had to pay $300.00 to get it repaired.

What a lie. You downloaded some BS piece of software through Limewire, got a virus and didn't know how to fix it.

it wasn't because of limewire it was because of whatever you were downloading. try to stay away from unlabeled or misslabeled files they could be viruses but LimeWire will never screw up your computer, it will however have problems if you have Norton antivirus but if you do Norton Antivirus is nothing but trouble

I don't believe it's possible for limewire software to cause a hardware crash.

Should of had a good spybot, firewall, virus checker,etc. It's the files. Try http://www.frostwire.com

OOOooh! That sucks... That's why I didn't get it in the 1st place... If you need a free-download MP3 web, mp3000.com is good (alto they don't have all the songs...)

Ouch! No but thanks for the info! As for music downloads use Ares! I;ve had it for 2 yrs and no problems whatsoever! Good Luck!

dat suxz bad try using a antivirus thing like norton or sumin.....dats wat i use but i have limewire pro and it has never givin me a virus and if it does i just clean ir
