the black text underneath my folders has changed to blue. how do i change it back?

I get my internet from a wireless AP, but but my laptop has trouble recieving the signal.

So I want to use my desktop to recieve the wireless signal and then send the signal out to my wireless router through its ethernet card.

No clue how to do this successfully. Help!!

hello everyone im new here so plaease help if you can my ? is i have a wireless router for my dektop pc & my friend has a wireless usb adapter now i have setup the wirless router and the wireless usb adapter .. i have not put on the wireless router yet i set up the wirelss usb adpter on my frineds laptop thne i click on the icon in the takebar and seen this scan tab so i click on it and i seen names in the box some had keys by them & others did not have keys by them so i click on the name;s and 1 of them with out a key took us online the wireless router is not on we are online now is this meen we are on some body's network? and is it illegal to be on there network? as we do not wish to do any thing illegal? but we are online for free with out signing up to a (isp)server is this illegal? are we breaking any law?

and I think I deleted some needed files. For example I can no longer see my avatar picture, it's just an X in a square. I don't look like an X in a square. I also have an old Windows 98 computer and when I try to add some stuff back in that I took out, it tells me to load the Win 98 CD-Rom and I don't have it! AND..Can delete Cookies? H E L P!!???

I have set up a wi-fi network several computers passwords SSID etc. So now I want to add WEP, can you help me please as to the sequence Passphrase e.g admin 1 2 3 4 is at the top in individual circles also down the table key 1. key 2 etc do I enter and match number 1 in a circle to number 1 in side key number 2 in a circle to number 2 in the side key and at the end press generate and watch everything I have carefully composed alter in front of my very eyes. I had all my network up and running just fine with my WEP but alas I don't know if my signal strength went down I had to disable WEP to get my network running again and am now hesitant to repeat previous mistakes. I have read the help several times and now am confused, if possibly I only need a passphrase plus 1 key any help will be greatly appreciated thankyou.

I can download and play music just fine in Limewire. I've transferred my Limewire music library to Media Player and can burn CDs, but when I click "LAUNCH" to watch a video clip in Limewire, nothing happens, and I haven't figured out how the heck to transfer a Video Library to Media Player for convenience. Myfriend says that when he hits "LAUNCH" it automatically plays in Media Player but mine just sits there. I need some detailed instructions, please.

i have a dell inspiron 1300 with 3 usb(2) ports phillips 42PF5321D plasma tv and a JVCTHC60 system. i bought a pinnacle media center from best buy so i could use the s video but it wont work. all i want is the plasma to be the main display and the JVC system for the audio all using the laptop as my main source. please help me to connect this all together. they told me i cant use VGA either.

hiya, how can i secure my phtos over the intenet so no1 can copy them, i have created a website and want to make sure my pictures are not copyied and used else where, some1 told me to but ya logo over the pic then save it but i also been told this method dont work as people can remove the logo without the pic getting messed. i have paintshop pro 10 i have watermaked the pic but that no good, any other iders....
