How do I install speakers onto my desktop?

I have speakers plugged in to the outlet and audio output port on my computer but my control panel does not recognize the presence of any audio devices.

You don't need to "install" speakers but you can select the type of speaker system you have connected to your sound card.

Click on CONTROL PANEL< then Click on SOUNDS & AUDIO DEVICES, then click on the VOLUME TAB, then Click on ADVANCED to select the type of speaker system you have

Does your sound card work? If it is new in your pc check your drivers.
