I just recently bought an Aspire Acer from circuit city. Ive never heard of this brand. All ive ever heard before were names like Dell and Apple. Is this a good computer brand? Anyone else have this certain brand? What brand do you have?

i've had my latptop for about a year, and there's a few minor annoying problems with it, when i hit shift key sometimes everything cap locks, recently, i keep getting a blue screen that says i must shut down, supposedly a 'serious error;' and my computer might have viruses, adware, spyware, etc; i'm thinking easiest way is to buy a protable hard drive, transfer all data there, and wipe out my laptop(how do this?), and then transfer files from protable drive back to laptop; however, if i have installed software such as photoshop, will this be erased also? any other ways to clean up computer?

when i click on the download button nothing happens. I've tried all the hints on the adobe website and evrything i can think of help like using another browser (firefox), set to medium level security, uninstalled the previous flash player 8 using flash uninstaller, disalble pop up blocker and etc. Pls can ayone send me the stand alone program for this flash player. I've been trying to download this macromedia for almost 2 weeks but till now no Luck.

i burned a cd like 2 days ago on media plyer but then i tried to burn another and it would say i have a blank cd in but it wont let me burn. it would just say that there is no blank cd.

I have a friend whose Yahoo account was hacked and they changed her password and personal info so that she cannot get back her password. The problem is that she has a credit card linked to that account and forgot which one it is, so she can't cancel it.
