Does the more friends you have give you some type of status or bonus on the site? I mean, so many people that I have nothing in common with invite me. I'm a bit new there so I'm not sure what to think.

Accumulating to their friend numbers, just to act as if their more popular, but, I'm done with Myspace, and more and more people need to get a life these days, and i'm concerned at the future of the United States.
