i thought i could go to page setup and realign, but i can't figure it out.

Just re-installed windows XP PRO on a new hard drive for a friend.....it never missed a beat and all went well....it was plugged into my CRT monitor...and all was working 100%

Took it all rouind to my pals house...and his (fairly old Flat Screen sony Monitor) was recognised straigh away and it fired up a treat...all was well. But every now and again the screen goes completly weierd....like a real display problem.....according to the monitor menu...it says its a signal error?? Reboot and all is well again.......it just happens every now and again......!! Monitor on the way out? I hammered the PC after the insall....and it performed faultlessly on my CRT monitor

it has happened 2 times i 6 days first time something came up and it fixed itself.but now i need help everything got bigger the screen everything .i cant see the whole page its 2 big how do i make it normal size again?plz help.

My internet service is through NetZero. does that affect me using the Free Yahoo Mail? How can I get my daughter set up. I know MSN hot mail does it but my .net does not acknowledge/accept hot mail. How do I get free mail for my daughter? Will this affect my NetZero account? When can I sign her up? I treid and got as far as needing parent permission when I got disconnected from this sight. I wanted to lock my daughter out but suddenly I locked myself out and I don't even know my Windows XP Professional user name or password. I started it in safe mode and it prompts me to enter my password. "Owner" is already entered in the user name spot. Anything I do it wants user name and password which I don't know. Help!!!

Ok, i bought COD 2 today but after I installed it, I faced a few problems. But first, my computer is a windows xp w/ enough memory, 512 mg ram, pentium 4, direct x 9.c, and broadband.

Problem 1- single player mode does not open at all, and does not give any error reports. It is totally unresponsive.

Problem 2- when i open multiplayer mode, i see the picture before the game loads but then an error that says: Direct x encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the direct x faq for possible solutions.

So I checked the faq. I followed what they said and went to start>run>dxdiag>display. The faq told me to make sure all the direct x features were installed. I noticed that one was not installed, the AGP texture acceleration.

If I have the latest Direct x update, why is the AGP texture acceleration there? Is this affecting my game?

Any help is very much appreciated!

yahoo site is opening without anyimages on it. its automatically coming opening like this http://www.yahoo.com/?rs=1. by checking the java console in mozilla its showing Error: Expected declaration but found '*'. Skipped to next declaration.

I receive several emails per day from foreign "Bank officials" stating they need to get my banking information so they can deposit various amounts of money (Always in the millions of dollars) in an American bank. When I allow them to use my bank account, they will deposit the money in my account and give me a large portion of the money for my trouble.

I turned on my computer and I get that error. Error code:
0x000000ED (0x812FA4D0, 0xC0000006, 0X00000000, 0x00000000).
I looked up online for help, but nothing works. I don't have a Windows XP CD, so I downloaded the Windows XP Home Edition SP2 setup disks from Microsoft. I used the 6 setup disks. On the sixth disk, the process took very long time to finish and then the computer rebooted itself and I still get the same error. Was that suppose to happen or was there suppose to be a setup screen where I can access the recovery console?

Please help. I've been to a few sites and all have similar or exact instructions.
