Yea, but you need to use an email program that downloads the email to your hard drive, such as microsoft outlook or Eudora. You can look at your hotmail or yahoo emails by setting up "pop" mail in the options to be sent to these email programs.

Depends on where your old mail is. If you're using Outlook or Lotus Notes, then yes. Just open Outlook or whatever and your mail will be there.

If you have Hotmail or Yahoomail or another internet based mail service, your old mail is stored on their server, and you'd need to get on the internet to read it.

You don't have much info in the question...

You can only read mail offline IF you have somehow saved or downloaded it. (if you use POP3 email, and yahoo supports this if you pay them for it) then you can open Outlook or Outlook Express anytime and view previously downloaded messages, and even respond to them (but of course, they won't go out until you connect to the internet to send them).

If you are using a mail client on your system such as thunderbird or outlook express, yes. If you use only webmail such as a Yahoo free mail account, then no!
