for the sims 2 on the computer, i had a problem. my woman gave birth to a boy. then she was skinny again. but then she put down the baby and had birth again. this happened over and over until she had 5 baby boys. what happened?

Recently experiencing computer problems which I thought i could fix by running virus scan while in safe mode. Computer wouldn't allow me to access safe mode using F8 so I manually went to safe mode using msconfig and boot tab, however when couputer rebooted my screen was blank and the on/off button was yellow. It says to press any key or mouse however nothing happens. Any suggestions???

i did the disk cleanup thing and i think that erased volume control. I went back to control panel and tried to get it back to the taskbar, but it told me that i needed to install it again in the add/remove program so i went back to the windows components but there is nothing at all there about volume control....what do i do to get it back?

I've had Trillian for a while. I was wondering, how can I send files to a Yahoo! Messenger user while I'm still using Trillian? There's got to be a way!

I have a D-link Di-624 router, and every so often it resets. I got a new one and it still happens. Turns out, that its an electrical wiring problem, and the bigger electrical appliances require more electricity, and the fact that theres a lose connection makes ti worse. Any suggestions (every few minutes, the internet goes out). Maybe a UPS would help (A surge protector isnt doing the trick). Also, with a UPS, the router wont shut off at all, or will there still be spikes?

iphoto used to be great but now its CRAP, I don't even want to use it to store my photos but I need to use it to upload my pictures from my camera. Normally I just plug in my camera, turn it on, and the pictures load effortlessly into the program, but now it wont work. It freezes up and then tells me that none of the pictures are the right "type". I don't want to solve my iphoto problem, I just want to upload my pictures. Is there any way I can get them on my computer without going through iphoto? Thanks.

I've been trying to sign up with Yahoo 360 degrees, but I couldn't save my file because I didn't know what they meant by Home Page. I thought Yahoo was my Home Page, so that's what I put and it came up 'wrong URL' .

Well, I've just exposed myself as hopeless with computers!!!! I only use it for Microsoft Word and surfing the net, so a bit of help would be appreciated.

P.S. What do they mean by avaitor (or something like that!!!!)?

The printer and monitor work fine. We had a power outage a few times last week so I am wondering if this could have blown the circuit or something. I am pretty sure that we have a surge protector but I am not positive. The computer is an HP Pavilion from around 2000 so it really is not very old.

i have a computer that lags when scrolling thru stuff like IE, or even just lager folders. i just reformatted, and that was the first thing i checked (it was running 20 processes when i checked) i have read some of the other posts like mine and have tried them all out (deleted cookies, defrag, stuff in BG....)
Specs:
ASUS A8V motheroard
1 GB corsair value select RAM
150 GB HDD
AMD 3500+
just upgraded from a 64 MB ASUS graphics card to a 256 MB ATI Radeon 9550

there are no viruses as i just reformatted
this computer is used mostly for surfing the internet and word processing.
i have all the latest video drivers
ran memtest overnight and it reported no problems

what can it be?

when it said welcome it said a hard drive file was recoverd and it was succesfulll.the it showed my desktop and it had a little box in the corner and it was fastly showing al my desktop items in writing in the box,my homepage is yahoo! but when i hit i.e it took me to msn is this bad?!?
