I've had Trillian for a while. I was wondering, how can I send files to a Yahoo! Messenger user while I'm still using Trillian? There's got to be a way!

I know the basics of sending a file. Whenever I try to send it the other user gets the error: "Austin is trying to send you a file from an incompatible version of Yahoo! Messenger". I'm looking for a way around this.

i am not sure about that I know of a program that send files probaly not what you need but its called groove

open the window of the person you want to send file to, and click on "send file" icon. If icon is not available go to "actions" and once again click on "send file"

easiest: just drag the file and drop it on the chat screen or the name in the list.
