I have a D-link Di-624 router, and every so often it resets. I got a new one and it still happens. Turns out, that its an electrical wiring problem, and the bigger electrical appliances require more electricity, and the fact that theres a lose connection makes ti worse. Any suggestions (every few minutes, the internet goes out). Maybe a UPS would help (A surge protector isnt doing the trick). Also, with a UPS, the router wont shut off at all, or will there still be spikes?

Yes a UPS would do the trick. Although you'd be better off having an electrician fix the problem than trying to bypass it and allowing your house burn to the ground.

It's not a complicated deal (probably) to check the wiring that is causing the problem. No biggie for a skilled electrician who has experience in residential or commercial stuff. What he'll do is simply follow the electrical path both hot and neutral from the box to the router receptacle checking to see that the connections are sound and secure. Dollars to doughnuts one of them isn't.

Using a UPS would certainly help, but the fact that your wiring is bad enough to cause the router to reset when they are started is rather scary.
