Ah, you might merely be visiting sites that utilize pop-up advertisements, or you might have adware installed on your computer. To rid yourself of either, use Google's toolbar or Yahoo's equivalent, and download and run AdAware frequently to remove spyware and other types of malware. All are free and easily downloaded from the Internet, and Yahoo's toolbar even has a mediocre spyware-killer built in, I believe. Depending on your browser, you can also disable JavaScript (a computer language that most pop-ups use) or enable a pop-up blocker that your browser may already have. Good luck, hope this helps.

Don't use two antiviral products together as they may be incompatible. If your Antiviral trial has run out, then remove product from your computer and get the AVG installed.

run "msconfig". Select the far right hand side Tab, disable the spam software that you unintentionally installed. This way you can still use the software that it came bundled in. Read more about what I am talking about at the link provided. No need to download anything.

Try the above suggestions and if all else fails buy a couple of blank DVD discs, back up all your files and reformat your entire computer. You'll also notice your computer running faster and more efficiently. I do it every 3 months or so and it's not a great hassle.
