Here's my take on the matter, as I have both a Mac and a PC. Macs do have the "coolness" factor, but you pay for it, and PCs are starting to catch up. Macs are also generally better for video and photo editing partly because of software like Final Cut Pro and partly because dual core processors have been around on Macs for a long time. The down sides to a Mac are price, compatability with software and hardware, and the fact that lately Macs have been falling behind with the newest technology. PCs have the advantage of being much more widely used, especially in the business world. All that said, I still use and like both.

It depends on what you use it for. If you use it to make podcasts about how you don't have a life, then sure.

If you want to beat my computer in anything (including coolness) then no.

PC's have always been ahead.

Dual core CPU's have been out on PC's/Macs for about the same length of time. PC's have had dual CPU's longer.

There is more software (including editing software ) for PC.

Well no, because I have 4 Macs. So take that. Hahaha...

I just got a MacBook Pro (AWESOME!)

I used to have an iBook...until the screen cracked...lol

Yes, I am only 18, so I'm still living with my parents, and we just happen to own Macs. (So I REALLY own the MacBook Pro (Graduation Present), the iMac G5, (Learning how to drive gift) and the graphite iMac G3 (My parents randomely wen't out and bought the iMac G3s, which really surprised me and my sister...lol)

The iBook...Well, that's another story...lol

You are way cooler, because the iMacs are awesome machines. PC users don't know what they're missing (well, I do because I'm currently on a PC).

P.S. Do you know what IBM stands for?
