I heard there was a nationwide virus that was released on July 3 & 4. that's when my computer went bonkers. there seems to be a worm, Trojan virus, Backdoor virus and Malwarm program that is eating files and breaking links in my computer.

There is a field in a form we currently have in Access called, "Date Product Shipped." For some strange reason, this was created months ago as an unbound field, instead of creating the field in a table first. Now we need that info for a query, but since it's unbound, the info hasn't been dumping into any tables. BUT the data has gotta be stored somewhere. How can we get at it in a way we can use?

I removed it from "Add/Remove" but when I turn on my computer, it still trys the software automatically. Because I removed it, it cannot finish the inital part, so I have to hit cancel over and over again. Could someone PLEASE help me?

Ok, my screen is blurry. How do I make the text sharper? I know there's a way, I just forget. I have to have the text sizes really big otherwise it begins to give me a headache with how blurry it is. It isn't my monitor, it's only like 2 years old and it's from Dell. I'm not buying a new one, so please don't suggest it.

Currently the HD has 2 partitians. The first is probably 90% of the HD and the second is large enough to install XP with a bit left to spare. To be honest, Im uncertain how I got 2 partitians to begin with. This puter has worked hard for a couple years and has too many issues to resolve. I believe my best approach would be to COMPLETELY reformat the hard drive ( I dont want to restore it to an earlier point etc--I want the HD wiped clean for a fresh start) and then reinstall a fresh copy of XP. I cant seem to figure out how to reformat the hard drive.


Can anyone tell me a reasonably simple way to reformat it?
