Hi,i'm msc .computerscience graduate i want to be j2ee professional. ive started all the things to became java professional. but some of friends told me that microsoft's .net is going to dominate and less people will be prefer java . so they asked me to prefer microsoft technologies. But i'm intersted in java technologies only.

microsoft technologies often releases updated versions and not happened in sunmicrosystems. what is the actual fact.will it retain
this boom upto 2 yrs. or what will happen after that ?

I want it kinda like Windows Movie Maker but with more effects and transitions. Plus, my Windows Movie Maker is the older one without anything, you can't even do text. I have a store bought computer that i had to replace the motherboard. The machine works just fine, but now I need to re activate windows..I tried by phone and by internet..Microsoft says it's not valid so I must uninstall and reinstall XP and use the product key on the side of the case. Fine. I have and XP disk and I have the key. But how do I uninstall? Do I go into the bios? I can't load the computer because it stops at the activate screen...Any help would be great. Never had this problem..it usually just activates with the internet option

Occasionally, about once every month or two, my computer will say that I have only 992MB of RAM, when usually it shows my full 1024MB. It will say this during POST, and also after I boot and look at the properties for My Computer. In addition, I have noticed that when this happens, I tend to have problems with my video card. Basically, my computer will say that I don't HAVE a video card. It has done this with both my NVidia FX5700, and with my ATI Radeon 9800SE. I'm sure it is no coincidence that it is exactly 32MB. 32MB is the amount per chip. I am using 2 sticks, consisting of 2 banks of 256MB per stick. Has anyone heard of this happening, or experienced it? And if so, is there a fix? It doesn't make sense to me for RAM to work SOME of the time. A chip is either bad, or it isn't.
