Hi,i'm msc .computerscience graduate i want to be j2ee professional. ive started all the things to became java professional. but some of friends told me that microsoft's .net is going to dominate and less people will be prefer java . so they asked me to prefer microsoft technologies. But i'm intersted in java technologies only.

microsoft technologies often releases updated versions and not happened in sunmicrosystems. what is the actual fact.will it retain
this boom upto 2 yrs. or what will happen after that ?

All technologies are transient. Nothing is permanent. Especially in the rapidly changing Software industry.

You need to keep updating your knowledge all the time, my friend.

By the way, your working on your English would also help you very much, especially in todays "global village" environment.

i don't think it will lose it's possition too much as it is multi-platform, and can be used to make applets for web pages.
