Let's say I want to re-install my windows program on my laptop. Do the viruses and trojans horses go away or do they have a way to come back?

They may not all be removed. Also, asking your question three times doesn't help.

Re-installing windows operating system or re-formating the hard drive should get rid of any viruses and trojans. You lose all of your personal files and settings doing this though. Re-installing a windows program however usually does not get rid of viruses and trojans.

When you install windows for a virus. Make sure you delete the old partition and then re-install. Everything will be wiped from the harddrive that way.

They should all be gone, only if you wiped out the Hard Drive of your computer before you re-installed to windows software.

IF you completely wipe, and reformat your hard rive they'll go away. If you just install over the op, it will ALL still be there. You better get a firewall or some internet protection once you get your system clean though, or you'll just get it all over again.

Make sure u install a goog antivirus protection.
