Anyone know how I get my comp to recognize my 3D card?

I reinstalled Windows XP, it doesnt recognize the 3D card, and wont install. Any ideas?

Have to have a standard video driver installed first, then insert card and install drivers from cd rom. Try uninstalling and reinstalling video drivers.

try putting on the recovery disk if not look for the driver either in the cards manufacturers or pc manufacturers website
