I was playing a game the other night, my comp. froze, there were blue wavy lines on the screen and a "ticking" noise from the speakers. Rebooted. Now, my computer turns on but there's no image on the screen, just blackness. Not even the BIOS info. shows up. Checked monitor, it's fine (brand new). Disconnected & reconnected/reseated all cables, RAM chips, & PCI/video card. Nothing. The computer turns on fine but still no image. It sounds like the hard drive is spinning up just fine. I have an older GeForce4 4600 AGP card (going on 4 yrs. old) What do you think is wrong?

when i open yahoo messenger or internet explorer my comp turns in blue screen and displays a message a fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:c14A1DB9 and never get back to normal untill i restart the comp ....not only that when i shutdown the comp it displays a message explorer error and tahes some time to shutdown pls help me..

There are alot of other students near where I live. My computer is picking up at least 5 different wireless connections and operating much faster than my dial up. Am I wrong to "freely" use the internet connection or should I try to figure out whose they are and tell them I am connecting to it? I fear someone will figure out that I have been using their connection.

When peripheral does not respond or work...keyboard, mouse etc.

been told- "unplug USB connection, count to 10 and replug".
That works!

It has been occuring more than ever.

What can I do to stop this and make parts work togther in USB always. Annoying.
What is actually happening?
