THE GRAPHICS CARD I HAVE IS A GEOFORCE FX 5200 128MB

I use a Toshiba laptop, and sometimes the mouse - arrow on screen - becomes lethargic.
It can just stick, and become difficult to move.
Sometimes it will just highlight script but, thankfully, doesn't delete it.
Every so often it just becomes a black no entry sign - a circle with a line through it .
Once in a while it will change the page without clicking.
Anyone understand this odd behaviour?

I have an e machines laptop but I dont have any of the cds it came with. It is like flooded with viruses and spyware. Is there any way I can download one and burn it from my other cpu. Also, it is protected by a password and my brother forgot what it was so we cant even get to the desktop, we have been on it recently and the internet didnt work. I just wasnt to start it completely from scratch.

basically i bought a new ecs mother board with intel pentium d processor it has pci -e video ; sata dual channel ddr 2 , 1 gig of memory, ati 410 l & sb 450 chipset , and if i try to download the pics off my 5 mega pixel camera it shuts down or if i try to make a slideshow with my program designed for doing slide shows it shuts down now before i had a way outdated motherboard less memory and only a 2.0 processor and never had a problem please help i have upped the power supply to a 450 and this did not cure the problem is it the video card or is it this crappy mother board

Whenever i type on any text document in my computer, various alphabets start getting typed by themselves. i think its some kind of virus. i have a symantec full version9.0.0.338 2004 vrsion antivirus software which i keep live updating now and then. i am amatuer in computers and cannot afford a new antivirus as of now. any suggestions what shud i do? also please let me know if you know any good online free antivirus that may help me. i have tried "house on call"
