Download an anti-virus software from the net for free and scan your computer. AVG Anti Virus Free is good. Use Google search or go to www.download.com

Depends on the virus(es) you got. I would suggest starting with a virus scan. There's a very respected free online one at http://housecall.trendmicro.com. It will at least identify the viruses it finds even if it cannot remove them for you. Once identified, you can go to http://www.sarc.com and find detailed instructions on how to remove most manually. I'll be happy to walk you through removal if you need help - just contact me on Yahoo messenger.

you have to make sure they're actually viruses and not just spyware or malware.
and are you protected from the internet? if you are not, then they'll just reappear even when you take them out.
get a good firewal......kerio or outpost
then use some populare antivirus and antispyware programs. Ad aware is a good program, so is spybot
try that for starters.

Go to this site and do a free scan. http://www.trendmicro.com
It takes a while, but it's worth the wait. If it doesn't clean them for you, it will tell you how to do it yourself. Then go out and buy the 12 month retail package and install it. (PC-cillin) If you need a free anti virus scanner, go find Avast.

Download the free AVG antivirus software at http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1. Install, setup for automatic updates, and schedule virus scans every day.
