Computers & Internet - 20 June 2006

It was working well before. I was able to create DVD but recently it cant' read blank DVD+R although my computer recognize the drive, it now only inform there are o bytes in the DVD i just place in its drive. I opened properties and in the DVD region , it says dvd region not selected and only 2 more times left to change it.. does this got to do with the problem i am encountering? help please..

I would appreciate those who can give me technical help..

i know that virtual memory comes to help when we have a low RAM..but why we can change it...why not having it fixed..to the max possible?

Hello people, how to remove video card and place it back again? because my PC is beeping "4 beeps".

My PC encountered a problem which it beeps "4 beeps" and my monitor dont ON. My friend says that you have to remove the video card and place it back again but how? anyone can help me pls.

I am logged on as an administrator, still I am not able to uncheck the "Read-only" attribute of some folders, neither in normal mode nor in safe mode. I unchecked the "Read-only" attribute & clicked OK. Again when I saw the "Properties" of that folder the "Read-only" attribute was checked again,infact it was not checked rather there was a square dot in the "Read-only" check box. Please tell me how can I solve this problem. I will be very greatful to you.

My first question was, how do I restore the "tools, view etc." bar to my browser? I installed an up date to Windows XP and lost this bar. I received an email with an answer but every time I try to open a link I lose the screen.
