changing burn speed with nero?

how do i change the burn speed of nero 7 to always burn cd's and dvd's at 4x?

there is no "options" area in which to set them (that i have found). if you know where the options are please tell me. also, so far it will only give me the option to burn at 16x and max (which are too fast and cause skips and errors on recordings).

I don't think you can set these values as default, but you are always asked what speed to burn at prior to commencing a project burn.

Yes, you can do it. Go to options in Nero 7 and set the speed there..
