It was working well before. I was able to create DVD but recently it cant' read blank DVD+R although my computer recognize the drive, it now only inform there are o bytes in the DVD i just place in its drive. I opened properties and in the DVD region , it says dvd region not selected and only 2 more times left to change it.. does this got to do with the problem i am encountering? help please..

I would appreciate those who can give me technical help..

sounds like the dvd region not selected is the problem. has to be set to your countrys region. or it could be the burning software doing it.

First thing to check. Is the drive you put the disk in a DVD drive or a CD drive. You can easily check this just by looking at it. It will either have Compact Disk written on it or DVD written on it. If it only has Compact Disk written on it, you bought the wrong kind of CD's. Instead of buying DVD's, buy ones that say CD-R or CD-RW. Second thing to check. Look at the DVD drive. If it says DVD-RW or DVD rewritable, then everything should be ok. If it does not say that, then your computer cannot make DVD's or CD's.

Are you sure you was reading and creating DVD+R and not DVD-R? If you are sure then roll back your drivers or altogether reinstall your drivers. Good Luck
