how do you fix this comp problem?? task manager, administrator problems..plzz help?

Question

when i press control alt dlt to get to my task manager, it says that task manager has been disabled by your administator. how do you fix this?
i have windows xp

are you working in a LAN, or do you have admin rights... if yes then contact system administrator, or if u have a single PC then try this.
right click on my computer, select MANAGE, go to LOCAL USERS AND GROUPS... double click on users...right click on ur name and go to propeties... go to MEMBER OF tab ... click on ADD , click advanced, click FIND NOW... click on ADMINISTRATORS.. click OK....OK....OK.

well From your Problem, i understand that u r computer is may be infected by virus , Task manager is one of the Exe which shud run in any case, plz get u r system checked by a good computer engineer , or if u have any Antivirus Install and fully update, run the complete scan , i think this will solve your issue,

Enable / Disable the Task Manager

Start Regedit

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\

Create the Dword value DisableTaskMgr

Give it a value of 0 to enable it

Give it a vaule of 1 to disable it
