Can downloading a ROM be legal? For instance, is it legal to download a ROM if you already own an authentic copy of the game, or if the game is no-longer being made? There is way too much contradicting info on the net, and its been really confusing for me. I know PD ROMs are legal, but can non-PDs be legal too?

I see a million free tell a friend scripts but all require knowledge beyond me (java, php etc.) if someone can get me to a free html only script you'll be "The coolest"!

I can receive incoming mail with outlook with my yahoo account using pop.mail.yahoo.com but when i try to send a message i get (Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. I had a hdd that got corrupted & tried to retrieve the data from it. The bios now sees it as N40P. Is there a program I can use to fix this w/out going to a Data Clinic?
I looked at the Maxtor site & found the following:
Symptoms:
1. When the computer is powered on the BIOS will identify the drive as MAXTOR N40P.

Cause: DiamondMax Plus 8 drives that are recognised as "MAXTOR N40P" in the BIOS have often sustained damage to their firmware zone.

Recovery possibilities: Data Clinic are often able to perform a full data recovery on all Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 8 series hard drives with firmware zone corruption.

The computer goes to sign in. When a user profile is selected it goes to the desktop with no icons and then just signs off and goes back to the sign in screen. I have already spent a night chasing a solution involving spyware called "Blazefind" and that did not work. Any help would be appreciated.
