how to make that someone chat less ?

You want someone to approach you with chatting less or what or do you want someone to chat less on the computer?

If it is the latter you can easily engage that someone in some other interesting activity preferably outdoor.

and if your case is the previous one just go to your messenger option on the messenger toolbar and go to preferences and just add that someone's name to the ignore list.

That's a tough one Ed. Just be glad that they are chatting for free on line, and not running up a real big phone bill. :D

If you don't want to chat w/someone, just ignore them. It's cold, but hey, your time is your time, for your use, spend it how you want to. Chatting w/someone dull is a waste of time.

If it's online, just throw them into your ignore bin for a while. Now if it's in real life, either explain it to them or get some super glue.

how about you just try to listen better. maybe they are chatting so much cause you aren't paying attn to what problem they want you to resolve.

on the internet-make an excuse to go away (ie. mom wants me off, i need to go eat, i have plans, etc.)
in real life-make an excuse to go away (ie. i need to get home to walk my dog, i need to go to the bathroom, im tired and need some sleep, etc.)
