My desktop isn't locked. I've tried to roll back but can't go far enough. When I right click on the desktop and go to arrange icons there is no "show desktop" option. However, I've tried finding the "web tab" option so I can choose to view my active desktop as a web page but I can't find it.

I know what's wrong, your desktop is locked. Right click anywhere there isn't an icon. Now goto Align Icons, a box will appear, now goto Lock Desktop, or Lock Web Items on Desktop, and uncheck it.
If this doesn't work, I don't know what to tell ya.
