I was making a right turn into my driveway, which happeneds to be more than a 90 degree turn up hill. So the only way to make the turn is to go about two feet into the other lane with my left tires and make to approach. I noticed there was a driver aways behind me as I put me blinker on, and turned up into my driveway, and was hit on the side passanger door. TBONED by the guy, who was trying to make a pass on the right>? WHO IS AT FAULT, He is arguing saying I am. But I was hit about 7 feet in my driveway, all four tires of mine were in the driveway when I was hit. We did get the accident report and it doesnt say anything about who is at fault, also my car is totalled.

Yesterday my friends and I were on our way to the mall. My boyfriend is sixteen years old and he was driving us. I was in the front seat and we had three other friends in the back. Me and my boyfriend were the only ones wearing seatbelts and none of us were paying attention when we rear ended a large truck as we were going 40-50 mph. The truck was stopped in the middle of the road, there wasn't even a turn lane or anything. But when we hit the airbags didn't deploy because our car suffered damage above the bumper where the airbag sensors are so when we hit I flew forward and I think something in my neck may have snapped. I didn't notice it until this morning when I woke up. But there's also something wrong with my breathing because I was screaming when we hit so the seatbelt got locked around my rib cage and I couldn't get it off. Should I go to the doctor?

One car is traveling slower than the speed limit on a road that is freshly covered in snow. Another car who is in a blind driveway backs out in reverse. There is limited visibility. The car on the road going on average 20-30mph slams on the brakes at a far distance (determined by skid tracks in the snow), the ABS kicks in but to no avail hits the car coming out of the driveway. The person coming out of the driveway claims the other driver was speeding, the other party denies it and blames it on the slippery conditions. That same night many other accidents happened because of the snow and limited visibility. Who was in error in this accident?

Do you think a certain age, race, gender, or location are more likely to be a bad driver?

Personally, I am annoyed with people who don't use turn signals and feel the need to pass me on the right when their lane is ending. Slow drivers in the passing lane also are annoying and I consider them hazards. People driving BMWs, Mercedes, Lexus, Cadillacs, Lincolns and white trucks also seem to be bad drivers. Just curious what your experience has been.

Last night I was filling my car's tank at the gas station, and it was cold out, so I sat in my car with the door open as it was fueling, watching the gas meter. My car normally takes around 13.5 gallons, and when I saw the numbers hit 14, I jumped out to see gas pouring out of my tank. Never had this happen in my life. I immediately went into the attached convenience store to tell them a half gallon of gas was sitting in a large puddle by their pumps, and asked if they had sand or something since it was obviously a hazard. The old, crochety woman's only comment was "weren't you manning the pump?? These old pumps tend to do that!" I stared at her and again said, "regardless, there's a large puddle of gas by your pumps and it could be very dangerous, I'm letting you know so you can call someone or put something on it!" She gave me a dirty look, ignored me and went to the next customer. I kid you not.
I ended up trying to warn people away, and was told to just let it evaporate.

I am going for my driving test soon and after 11 months of practicing, I am still not very good at parallel parking. I have heard from some that there is a DMV in the Phoenix area that does not do parallel parking on the test. Does anyone know if this is true and if so where is it?

The vehicle is a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan that I have been working on since August. The transaxle has begun slipping out of and/or not going into gear after starting it. I know it needs a rebuild but right now I need to let my family know if it slip out of gear while being driven around town or out of town.

Aside from the usage of cell phones while driving, do you bother to notice what drivers seem to be doing instead of paying attention to the road, conditions, etc.

...or, is it just me?

(Vehicle accidents have to be at an all time high)

My fiance was involved in an accident where a dump truck hit her driver side. Her car is prob. going to be totaled. She isn't seriously hurt, but did go to the doctor for her back. What should she do in order to make sure that she is compensated for her accident. I am not saying we want to make money off of this wreck, but her time missed from work, doctor bills, etc. need to be paid for. No experience with a wreck at all, much less involving a DUMP truck, so what do we do???

He took the car seat out of my vehicle and put it in his and now...a week later he won't return it. I've been asking him for it back and he won't give it back at all. Can I file a police report that he stole the car seat? I hav ethe receipt for the car seat too....
