Yesterday my friends and I were on our way to the mall. My boyfriend is sixteen years old and he was driving us. I was in the front seat and we had three other friends in the back. Me and my boyfriend were the only ones wearing seatbelts and none of us were paying attention when we rear ended a large truck as we were going 40-50 mph. The truck was stopped in the middle of the road, there wasn't even a turn lane or anything. But when we hit the airbags didn't deploy because our car suffered damage above the bumper where the airbag sensors are so when we hit I flew forward and I think something in my neck may have snapped. I didn't notice it until this morning when I woke up. But there's also something wrong with my breathing because I was screaming when we hit so the seatbelt got locked around my rib cage and I couldn't get it off. Should I go to the doctor?

Yes, go to the doctor ASAP. At that speed, even with a seat belt on, you could have serious injuries! When you say you have trouble breathing, it makes me think you could have cracked or broken a rib, or have a punctured lung. If I was on the scene and was transporting you to the hospital, just because of the speed of the collision, I would have considered the case to be a possible life threatening trauma!

Go to the doctor or ER NOW!!!!!
