Aside from the usage of cell phones while driving, do you bother to notice what drivers seem to be doing instead of paying attention to the road, conditions, etc.
...or, is it just me?
(Vehicle accidents have to be at an all time high)

I mean, do you actually bother to look at the driver?
You may see some really funny looking people (I don't only mean those wearing face paint or costumes).
I calulate that about four out of five drivers behind a wheel seem unusual.
Go anywhere, and do this test for yourself.
You may be amazed to see what people behind a wheel look like.
I don't want to be prejudiced, just feel that too many aren't focused on the job at hand...which is getting from point A to point B as safely as possible.

That's just it...watching those we still can see in vehicles (some have dark windows now), and judging from their ways what to expect from their driving.
That's part of defensive driving.
Seeing everything around you makes for better drivers.
Ya think?

Actually the roads are safer than ever. There are more cars on the road and the percentage of accidents is dropping.
But yes, I have seen the darnedest things.
A guy with a hardcover book on his steering wheel
Woman painting her toenails ( I kid you not, scary)
Someone eating what appeared to be soup holding both the bowl and the spoon
And those are just in the past couple years.

Well, the police are going to be noticing from now on. If they just see a person looking down, this will give them a 'reason' to pull people over. This was on the news just this evening, in reference to text messaging while driving!

There have been times when I'm riding on the back of a motorcycle and see people doing things that should not be done in cars while they are in motion. Then there are times the moms are yelling at their kids (who aren't strapped in), or the guys picking their noses. Or the young people trying to text or talk on the phone. I notice lots of things and people.

Along with numerous entries of people talking on cell phones and eating while driving, people witnessed some even more outrageous examples such as changing clothes while driving, and using a laptop.

If you are driving, it would be much preffered that you pay attention to your driving and not them.
