Say you're driving DOWN a mountain during a rainstorm and you're in the middle of a 3 lane freeway. You decide you wanna get into the slow lane but you notice there's an 18 wheeler next to you in that lane. Even though it's raining would you cut over in front of that truck and then go 10 miles even slower then it was or would you do the smart thing and let the truck pass you by and then get over behind it? Btw, I'm a truck driver and some idiot actually did this today.

Way back when, I had a SWEET 1979 Dodge Omni 024. Every time I shut the engine off, it would run on. When I switched to Premium fuel, the run-on went away. So, I figured the premium must be doing something good for my car, and have only used it ever since (Except when I had a Diesel Rabbit, but that is another question!)
I figure it is a couple more bucks per tank, but worth the peace of mind for me. Anyone else use Premium when they don't have to, or am I just trying to relive fond memories of the 024?

something for my car. I was thinking of getting the Nuvi 350 GPS. or maybe the 360. The only difference is that the 360 has blue tooth so you can have hands free. The Nuvi 350 is selling for $360 online. The Nuvi 360 is like 40 dollars more.

I haven't researched much on the TomToms. I don't know what to do. Please help me decide what to get. $360 sounds like a fair price.

So tommorow morning at 830 am im taking my 1st driving test. Now i drove out to where the test was and practiced parallel parking there and i have been practicing at a nearby driving school. Im really nervous because i live in PA and if you mess up the parallel parking they fail you automatically. Everyone has told me i will do fine and just to calm down. Because i know how to do everything and my drivers ed instructor let me leave the range early because i had finished everything and he passed me. Im just really stressed because if you fail where i am you have to wait forever because the next available one is like 1 month away. I just really need to calm down and i dont know how to im so nervous! Please Help!

I have just sold my Kia Sportage for a 1971 super beetle.
I love the old Volkswagens but I have a problem, I cant drive manuals. I thought I could learn easily.
I have been trying to learn but I just cant get it. Ive been learning for about a month and I am petrified to get in and drive on a busy street. Ive stalled so many times that my battery went dead on a hill in the middle of an intersection.
I dont want to sell the car that I just bought thinking that maybe with time I could fix it up really nice and make it a showcar.
I was thinking of getting a new Bettle...an Automatic, but its a lot of money and I only make 400$ every two weeks.

Ive been on the verge of a nervous breakdown with my boyfriend saying he will leave me if I dont drive it and my family having to drive me to work everyday...im just so stressed out.

What should I do!?

I have a 1993 Dodge stealth, now I'll be moving to canada soon. Would I be able to keep this car without having Daytime running lights installed?

If I must convert, is there a shop where I can do this? Note: I have pop-up headlights.

And does it annoy you when, at night, you see many Volvos with only ONE headlight on because they are worn out through being on all day? And have you ever considered the environmental and cost implications in extra fuel of having your lights on all the time?

The reason Swedish Volvos have lights that remain on is because it is a lot darker there than here and it is a safety feature on the wide open plains.

In the UK it is just totally annoying and pointless.

Finally - when you buy a Volvo estate, do you get tuition in how to drive really badly? Or is it just a coincidence? And finally finally, when you buy a Volvo estate, does something in your DNA change so that, instead of saving up and having proper holidays like everyone else, you buy a caravan and become a shed-puller, clogging up even more our already crowded roads?

We need to know the answers to all of these things so we can better understand and, perchance, sympathise with you all.
