I would take fuel injection over carburator any day.
Also safer and more fuel efficient, supplies as need fuel............doesn't just sit there in case of accident.

fuel injection is no doubt better for performance. the reason for this is the level of control. with a carb, it can only be optimized for a specific fuel trim while a FIE system constantly changes this. what this means is that while you drive there are many things that change, while a carb can't change the FIE system changes the amount of fuel it puts into the engine. also a FIE system can change the timing. Fuel injection simply makes the engine more efficient which means that you can make more horsepower per cubic inch. how the FIE system works is that it has many sensors that can tell the computer how to run the engine. these sensors detect things like atmospheric pressure, and inlet temp, and exactly how much air is going into the engine. this way the computer knows exactly how much fuel to add to that air. also the oxygen sensor can tell how much oxygen is left in the exhaust so this can tell the computer how much more fuel to add so that it can use up the oxygen. this is what controls how rich or lean it runs. hope this helped

It depends on the fuel being used. Fuel injection is always better with gasoline and most of the time for alcohol. When you run alcohol, you need twice the fuel. If you can find an injector that will support this kind of fuel flow, use fuel injection, but some applications are limited and you need to run a carb.
Fuel injection sprays high pressure fuel right above the valves (in most modern cars) right about the same time the valve opens. The atomized fuel burns completely, creating a bigger bang for your buck.
Carbs atomize low pressure fuel and then the fuel and air mixture need to travel down the manifold. The fuel droplets are larger and don't burn as well.
Why does nascar use carbs? To limit power. Most top fuel cars have fuel injection, as well as most race motorcycle (street bikes) and Formula one cars are injected as well.

Neither and Both. It all depends on what your trying to achieve. For consistency, most assuredly fuel injection. The best way to look at it is that stock cars are fuel injected and dragsters are carbed. For mass fuel with no concern for milage or emmisions........ carb. For track needing 6 mpg vs 4mpg, then go with fuel injected. If you will be doing alot of adjusting do you want to turn a wrench or play on a computer?

Port or direct fuel injection, because it gives a more even fuel distribution. There are other forms of fuel injection that are not as good as these, and maybe no better then a carburetor such as "throttle bodies".

fuel injection system is better, due to more efficient supply and usage of fuel.
this also is a cheaper when it comes to maintainance.
