Learn where people are at different times of the day.
keep your float small and the rest hidden securely
work long lousy hours stick to it things can change when it
seems slow and boring.
always remember to turn the meter on. get paid!
at least 50 percent of the people you meet will rip you off
if given a chance, the problem is sorting them out, yes the job
will make you cynical and bitter, and always! always! get the
money up front on a out of town trip, or if your fare is a crack
.whore and her goddam pimp
count out change slloowwllyy.
be polite but firm. and when you get stung on a fare, and it will
happen, try to remember, the mounties don't give a damn
you are out 40 percent , about 3 bucks on average and your time isn't worth persueing the sh*t down the alley and losing
more business in the mean time
Beating the snot out of somebody is only a momentary pleasure but it doesn't pay the bills
and lastly happy cabbies make better tips and peoples
generosity will make up for the ripoffs if you don't let it get you down for the night.
