I think it was the CRX maybe? And was it fuel injected or carb? Renault also made a car - that is no longer available - that got incredible mileage as well. Funny how the new "economy cars" get less mileage now than they could 20 years ago.

I may have to retire my minivan. Most are not looking to make them anymore. I love the look of SUV's but love the convience of them walking through the first two captains chairs for easy access to the back which I have with a minivan. When you car pool kids to school having to flip up a seat just adds difficulties. Anyone have any new SUV they love with 7 passenger seating that has easy access to the back?

I prefer a GM product.

I've managed to size a fantasy car tire at: 538/53R20

This size doesn't seem to exist... so what's my closest substitute, and where would I be able to find it? In theory (and appearance) a construction or Off-road tire might be closest, but I haven't found ANY sizes or size reference charts for those.

The fantasy tire has a Diameter of 42.5 - sect.width of 21.2 - Sect. height 11.2

I'll award best answer based on how useful your information is.. To me, the best answer is the most useful one, so even if you've given no actual answer, then maybe a link to construction tire sizes/size charts would be useful.

Thanks!

We're moving from Norwalk, CT. to St. Clair, MI. and I'm looking for a place that will essentially move my second car from CT to MI (we're driving one car). We have a moving service that is going to move our belongings, however I still need to get our second car there. Any suggestions?

I just leased a vehicle for 4 yrs and I am very happy with it. I've owned 3 cars outright. I would rather have something new every few years and not have to worry about trading in a car that I own and getting an extremely depreciated value. Does anyone else prefer leasing over buying? What do you prefer about it?

We had 14 inches of snow this last weekend, most of it is shoveled out of our driveway. However, when I backed my car, a 4 door stratus automatic, out of my garage stall, it became stuck and no amount of gunning it is moving it. There is no snow under the tires, just ice. My neighbors are able to drive there car, but i think they are playing off having more traction. How do i get my car to budge?!

I am putting the car through its mot today and have been told that it will fail on the back tyres because they have a couple of very minor cracks in them - but full tread - WHY??? (is it something to do with blowouts?)

I have purchased a new coilover set to lower my car... I know that you have to do the wheel re-alignment when i get this fitted, however, if later on i change the wheels, and/or want to change the suspensions height setting, do I need to redo the alignment?

I had my license suspended for speeding... I am set to get it back in about a week. Does anybody know what process I actually have to go through to get my license back? The license was suspended for 90 days in Kentucky.

I have heard something about going into the transportation cabinate and paying some kind of fee. I lost the license at a hearing, if that helps.

If anybody has had to do this, your input would be helpful, thanks.

I am a divorced single guy and am tired of paying inflated prices for housing in the city. I have a home elsewhere but must live in the city for work. I am thinking of converting a plain commercial van or panel truck so as not to draw attention when I am parked. Don't want to look like I am camping. Has anyone tried living in minimal space without many luxuries? I would only do it Monday thru Friday and head out of town on the weekends.

I like the body style, so as much as you hate it, I'm not interested in those answers.

I'm more interested in mechanical problems. I currently have a problematic car, and I want to make a solid decision this time. I've read several sources about some of the problems, but I'd like to hear more.

My favorite is the one where the car stops at the gas station and instead of getting gas the driver goes in to get a coffee. The gas pump nozzle gets mad and lets the air out of the tire while the driver is gone. Hilarious!

Anyone have any opinions on how black outs would look on a 91 camaro RS. Not sure if i should get them. I already have tints on the car so i would think it would match. All opinions welcome.

The rules for cyclists are vague. They're allowed to get away with violations that drivers cannot, yet drivers pay the road taxes. Cyclists are mandated to pay road tax and will be sent to prison if they accidently hit a cyclist, even if he or she is not within the bicycle zone...even if the cyclist is not wearing a helmet. This is grossly unfair. What would be a good compromise for drivers to share the road with cyclists?

I recently got involved in a bumper to bumper car accident in traffic recently. The car in front of me suddenly slammed its brakes and my brakes didn't slow me down in time and I bumped into the other car which then bumped into the car in front. There was no damage done to the car I had directly bumped into but the car in front recieved a dent in the rear bumper. Is my insurance company responsible for damages incurred to the 3rd car?
