attatchment for pickups on the net a long time ago. its basically catipillar tracks that you can buy, made of rubber and streel that you can replace them for tires and wheels on pickup trucks and some atvs. it allows the truck to go through deep snow. i dunno what its called. its a whole attatchment now just put around the wheels.

I currently have a very light 2dr front wheel drive car and I slip and slide all over ice and snow; are there options outside of purchasing winter tires? I have read that putting weight in the trunk of a front wheel drive car is more danger than help (longer stopping distances, less control over back end, etc).

I heard throwing hot water on the windshield is not good, the windshield might crack due to physics. I sometimes use my windshield wipers and w/s fluid, but it's always clogged with frozen fluid. Any tips?

I was just wondering if this is normal behaviour as i was out on a lesson on tuesday and as soon as i got into the car i could tell he was in a bit of a mood.

Later on when going round a round about(for the first time),i was giving way to traffic and he started yelling at me to go out,i am a nervous person at the best of times and he just totally put me off, obviously i know i was wrong to stop but i dont think he needed to shout at me as i wasn`t putting us in any danger.

I just couldn`t wait for the lesson to end so i could get out the car,as i knew i was going to cry as he just made me feel like a total dunce and i`m now dreading my next lesson as i dont have any confidence but i cant cancel as i`ve got a block of 25 hours left.any advice appreciated, thanx.

Looking to buy a car which came with both carburettor and fuel injected engines. As the carby engines are cheaper to buy, which is better? Is fuel injection more efficient? Reliable? Powerful? Is it possible to make a carburettor more efficient or even convert it to fuel injection?

I am thinking of a motorhome with the drive wheels closer to the front and then axles to the rear. Would this effect the drivability of a motorhome or even a semi rig.
