I would like to customize my truck by color and accessaries before I actually purchase anything to do it. Is there a site I can go to that I can customize my truck to see what it would look like? Please be serious! Thank You

So I have a black "leather" car bra, and my dad says I cannot leave it on while I wash it. I go to the self-serve car wash places with the power hoses. So is he right, should I take it off every time I wash it? Or Leave it on? Whats the diffrence between that and when it rains?

Even given that automatic transmissions have caught up with manual transmissions in fuel efficiency, cost (getting there), and acceleration, it seems to me that you're sacrificing control, letting it make decisions for you. I know that people would like an extra hand to run other errands in the car, but I'm not one that needs that extra hand very much. Also, performance of automatics consistently degrade from brand new until it's time for a major service, when manuals offer consistent performance until the clutch begins to give out.

The main control on the inside of the garage works but the one for my car doesn't. I put in a new battery but it just won't work. Any body have any ideas or websites I can go to find out how to get the control to work so I can stay in my car to open the garage door. It is a craftsman sears remote control (1999) . Sears 139.53681B - FCC-HBW1255 are the numbers on back of the control thing. Thank you to anyone who can help me.

Cars have stayed pretty much the same for the past 50 years, although they now look a little rounder.

I accept diesels are more economical if you do motorway mileages (as my dad does.) But, is there any point having a diesel if you do town driving only, i.e. school runs and shopping? I'm talking about 2.0L petrol V 2.0L diesel for town driving only. Would there be any significant mpg advantages?

I myself have a 2.5L Ford Cougar petrol, which is ok as i take a bus to work so its only for weekends.

Every one knows frequent use of the clutch increases fuel consumption. Whats the reason? Isint it the other way round because using the clutch disengages the pressure plate from the clutch plate thus reducing load on the engine, inturn increasing fuel economy??
