To answer your question, since nobody else did, the answer is "there are no hover TANKS" in existence. Modern hovercrafts are quite small and relatively light, mainly used for transport. They are incredibly loud and are bad for stealth, and lousy over rough terrain, at least by current technology, and vulnerable to damage in the skirt. Thus, they aren't being developed much. Maybe when antigrav came along...

I beleieve hovercrafts were used during the war between Iraq and Iran back in the 1980's for conflicts based in the marsh areas near Basra. Although these machines were originally built in the Uk, I do not know for certain if they were specifically military machines or later adapted for such use. I believe the company responsible was British Hovercraft Ltd. based on the Isle of Wight.

As advised, small to medium-sized hovercraft have been used since their invention for military use in terrain where both wheeled/tracked vehicles and boats would be at a disadvantage. However, unlike in the intro' to "Die Another Day", they still excert more than enough downward pressure of air to trigger anti-tank mines.

The US Navy uses hovercraft and have them in service now.

Primary purpose is to be able to land Marines in amphibious operations. They provide protection, cover fire and a huge range on beaches that are not the best.

British marines use hovercraft, but not armoured I think as this would make them too heavy.
There are amphibious tanks that float to beaches, but I think any armoured vehicle would be too heavy to hover.
