I'm just wondering. The last couple of times I had my car in the repair shop, there were (or seemed to be) at least two different things wrong with it. At present it must be about 15 years old now. It's the Dodge Colt I asked about in my two other vehicle related questions.

I have a 95 Jeep Wrangler and I recently put a lift and bigger tires. I want to take off the old tire since it is much smaller than the new tires but if I take the spare off then I have the spare holder which also holds the brake light... So I'm hoping to take that off (which will also remove the spare holder/brake light)

So my question is "Is a third brake light required in Colorado?"

Thanks everyone and if you have a source please post it so I can print it off...

It's my understanding that higher RPM equals higher fuel consumption. So, if you're going down a steep hill, using engine braking, and your engine is at 4000 RPM, is it needlessly guzzing gas? Or, does gas only flow to the engine when I press the gas pedal?

I'm asking in reference to a 2003 Honda Civic, if that matters.

usually when driving the police will give you a 5-10mph grace above the speed limit. I saw a lot of cars pulled over on I75 just north of Toledo in Michigan.

Are they passing tickets for 75, 80, 85mph? what kinds of grace to they allow?

I just got my first speeding ticket on I-605 in long beach going to work at 6am. I was crusing along when a motorcycle highway patrol pulled me over for making an unsafe lane change. He let me off on the lane change but wrote me up for going 90mph! The posted speed limit is 65mph, but I wanted to know roughly how much it is going to be and if I still have the option of taking driving school. I work at a car dealership and I cannot have any points on my driving record. If anyone could help, that would be awesome!
