Many thanks in advance

I'm starting to think that I am the only soccer mom on the face of the earth who 1) doesn't want a minivan and 2) like to drive stick.

If so, what happened? I had one run me off the road and almost make me wreck over the weekend, then when we stopped the car, he came up and punched my fiance in the back of the head and told him to get out of the car and fight him. My fiance just drove off because the trucker probably had a gun or something.

I have to get home from work tonight and the roads are covered in solid ice. I was using my 4 wheel drive on the way to work and was sliding around a lot. I have two sets of chains that I can use, but I noticed that some people only had the front chained, while others had the back chained... which should I do? I have to drive up and down a lot of hills... should I chain them all?

his green fiesta, so I chased after him, and rammed his car, eventually he stopped and guess what, he was some 80 year old man who could hardly see. I was so angry so I punched him to the ground and kicked him and smashed his glasses.
Why do these people drive when its obvious they are too old and are dangerous. I am still shaking with anger.

Hello everyone,

I am doing a term paper for a transportation policy and analysis class.

My topic is: Futurists and Transit. I want to study forms of mass transit in fiction, and try to make a relation to what we could possibly see in our actual future.

For instance: Robert Heinlein wrote a story where roads were converted into giant, fast conveyor belts, changing the landscape and how people moved around.

In the movie version of Minority Report, people moved around in personal transport pods that ran on electricity - and ran up and down the sides of buildings.

I've got a few more, but that's the idea. I could use some help with more examples. Mass transit or personal transport is fine.

Thanks everyone!

It's been broken into 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I want to hang onto it for another couple of months but in the meanwhile I'd like to repay the kindness of my friendly local scumbags. Things I had in mind were... scalpel hidden under the seat cover, me hiding in the boot with a cosh, dog poo on the door handle. Of course, if I did that I'd have to go in through the passenger door. Any more non-lethal (preferably) ideas for sweet sweet vengeance?

Any police out there to answer. I was driving to work last week, stopped at traffic lights and saw a woman behind me talking on her mobile. All I could do was mouthe to her to get off the phone. I felt really helpless. She could have caused an accident and killed or maimed someone.

I signed the paperwork yesterday for a new car that was supposed to be brought in from out of state, but today morning the dealer got to know that the car already has 500 miles on it. I talked to the dealer and said that i wanted to back off from the whole deal because paying so much money for a used car does not make sense.
I dont have the car neither does the dealer. The car is still out of state. Will i incur any charges or should i be worried about some fees that the dealer can threaten me with? Also should i request any paperwork that states that this deal is off or rather not bring up the question about any paperwork and simply ask him to destroy all the application on record?
How do i proceed?

By manual transmissions, I mean a regular manual with a real clutch. Automatic includes everything else (tiptronic, manumatic, whatever). A source of the info would be great too.
