Basically you set the temperature you want the cabin to be at, and it does the rest.

In the old days, you'd have to constantly adjust the heat and cooling to maintain a comfortable temp.

it is the dial or knob that turns from cool to warmer which should be blue to red in color. and has the fan speed for low to high.
