All variable the same: car, hill, conditions. Was wondering about the gas usage per minute, not the total to get down the hill. Would the car in neutral use the same amount of gas assuming neither car / driver touches the accelerator pedal or would it use less?

Thank You.

I need to rent a car one way from Minneapolis to Salt Lake City. I've never rented a car before- so have no idea where to look for the cheapest rental- where's the best deal? Is it better to rent by the week? What are the best pickup/drop off times?

Right! I've tried several times to foil you guys out there, but you always get the better of me. Now see if I can beat you with this question.

Why do British cars never use the letters "I", "Q" or "Z" on their number plates? I've heard the explanation that the letter "I" can be confused with the number 1, and that maybe the letter "Q" could possibly be too close to the number 0. However, if that was the reason, they wouldn't use the letter "O" because it is almost the exact replica of the number "0".

Surely I must have got you flumaxed this time?

now most of you know that the American Car companies are headed toward bankruptcy.

Ford Motor compnany alone spent 15% of their income on health benifits for their employees, thats about $5 trilllion.

What do you think America or The American Government should do to keep the American car Companies alive?

I'm looking at a Peugeot 307 estate, top spec and it's an ex-mobility motor. It's 3 years old with 24'000 miles and it's £5474. When I look at other 307's with similar spec, they are about £1000-£1500 more. Why is this, it's the first time Ive ever thought a car was too cheap.

I am thinking about getting automobile GPS system. This is for a professional person to visit a patient home (more than 3 homes a day). Voice guidance would be nice. I am not looking for the top of the line one. I am looking for a reasonable one to get a direction from one point to another.
Your recommendation by experience would be helpful and appreciated.

It has been so cold lately that even though I can still open the doors to the car, I have a lot of trouble closing them from the inside. Is there a way to prevent this? I don't have a garage.

I am trying to get alternate directions. The ones I am getting don't always use the best routes (slow moving roads, etc). Is there a way to change how Yahoo Directions finds the route?
