Iv'e lived in a mobile home for yrs , i would not change it for anything ! it's warm , cosy and no stairs !

The idea does appeal but I reckon the reality could be quite different. We recently had a week's holiday in a static caravan and we found that the walls were really thin and there's no privacy wherever you are in there.

I would imagine it is also bitterly cold in the Winter even with the heating on. They tend to have a lot of vents in.

I guess it's just personal preference, that and what people can afford. The way house prices are going, we could all be living in caravans soon!

Lucky you!! I moved from a lovely cottage into a flat in the city and I hate it, I would be much happier living in a caravan with a bit of green space around me. So yes, I think it would be great living in a static caravan, I hope you enjoy it.

we considered buying a static caravan as it had a huge amount of land with it, the reason we did not go ahead was because it was just to rural.

Ive had my caravan for almost ten years and this year we sold our house and moved into it full time. We have no regrets.
the only drawback is we have to find somewhere to live for January and February.

no i like my comforts and and when i need some peace and quiet away from kids and husband i can go upstairs and shut myself in the bathroom and have a luxurious bath
