this sounds stupid, but i get out of first now with no problem but am now working on making the transition smoother. When i shift to second, 3rd, 4th, 5th. I release the gas and push down the clutch. then i shift, let go of the clutch and accelerate. after shifting should i let out the clutch slowly as i accelorate? or should i let go of the clutch completely then accelorate?

What are the chances of the automobile being eliminated from all cities in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia? And what are the chances of auto-free cities being built? You hear about this movement all the time on the Web.

Ex. My car came stock with 17 inch wheels. I changed them to 20 inches. My friend says this will affect how the speedometer calculates speed. I say it doesn't change it at all. Who's right?

I have a buddy that drives a completely stock 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer who only runs Shell Premium Gas in it. He insists that it gives him better performance and mileage, but its a problem cause whenever we end up riding in his car he asks for a ridiculous amount of gas money.

Ive talked to a couple of mechanics, including my grandpa whos been workin on cars since the 50s, and research on the internet. and its obvious that its not doing a damn thing except over-working his engine. anyone else got some input to add about this?

To get your learner's permit in California, you need two certificates. One shows that you have taken classroom training and the other shows that you are enrolled in a behind the wheel driving school. The first step is getting your classroom training. You can do this from home at www.teendrivingcourse.com. Here you sing up and once you have completed the course, they mail you a certificate that you can take to the DMV. If you use this code (REF00A638) you get a five dollar discount. Once you have this certificate, take it to a driving school to sign up for behind the wheel training. When you sing up, they will give you a certificate that shows you are enrolled in a driving school, but you can't start driving yet. So now you have two certificates. Take these two certificates to the DMV and take the written exam. If you pass the written exam, you receive your learner's permit. Once you have your learner's permit, you go back to the driving school you signed up with and start your behind the wheel training. After completing your first lesson, you can drive under the supervision of an adult who is at least 25 years old and has a driver's license. I am currently building a trailer, and can't seem to find any information regarding the legal requirements for the position of the rear lights. Obviously, they go on the back of the trailer(for you wise asses) but are there any regulations governing the height from the ground or the size in from the side of the body etc.

Anyone got any ideas?
