Tailgaters. People who think that driving as close as possible to the back of your car is somehow magically going to make you drive faster.

I have many of them...
1) People who don't know the proper use of the blinker. Leave it on for an eternity after changing lanes, don't use it when turning, turning it on right as they are turning, etc.
2) Blocking a jammed intersection so no one else can get through.
3) Stopping on a red signal light and then continuing on right through the red light.
4) Drivers who think a green light means stop. Sometimes these same people will then proceed through the red light.
5) Making a right turn from the middle lane which is marked straight only or straight/left only. ...and I'm in the right lane wanting to go straight and right lane is not marked "right turn only".
6) Drivers who can't pick a lane and stay in it longer than 10 seconds.
7) Slowing down when entering a fast moving freeway.
8) Drivers who jump into the enter/exit lane in order to pass someone. Using the unfenced portion of the HOV lane for the same purpose.
9) Drivers purposefully merging over into someone else's lane in order to force them off the road.
10) Number 1 biggest pet peeve of all... CELL PHONES!! Like someone else said...shut up and drive.

People talking on their cell phones and not paying attention. This goes from speed to lack of turn signals to just plain stupid driving. Most of the people I come across doing something stupid have a cell phone in their hands.

I don't like when people pull out in front of me and then drive very slow. I tends to make me a little crazy. As for the speed demons out there. I always let them slide. Although I realize it is not always the case I choose to believe they are trying to get to a loved one at the hospital. Believing that helps me not get stressed or angry. It really works. For those of you whose blood pressure rises because of ignorant drivers ... try thinking the worst in their situation and you'll lower that blood pressure in no time. :) God bless you!

People who dont pay attention to the road, i.e. talking on the phone, lane changed w/o warning, driving too slow/fast for the road conditions.

Here on Oahu it's slow (I mean really slow <45 mph) drivers and trucks in the left lane, who don't yield.
But, on the mainland, it's people who don't signal, and worse, people who ZOOM through yellow (turning red) lights. Saving one minute can cost a life.

when TV game shows were poplar, I use to think California equipped meant no turn signals. folks that don't use there indicator signals bugs me. its also a policeman's ace in the hole if he wants to pull you over, just follow long enough till they dont use it , then they got ya and can search your car, with your permissoin of coarse, but if you dont give it, they will call in the dogs
