I have a 1989 Softail and the stock rake is 0 degrees. I want to add 5 degree raked trees but at the same time keep the bike at its current height. How do I figure out where a 5 degree rake will put the forks so that I can determine the proper length fork tubes? Is there a formula that I need to use? Thanks.

Hey, I bought a 1981 Virago 750 with straight pipes. I personally would have liked to have a muffler but the price was too good to let go. I know they are illegal, will I get in trouble in Upstate NY? I don't live in the city, but I will be riding through some towns. Also, can I get the bike inspectied with straight pipes?

The only restrictions are: No riding after dark. No passengers. And you have to stay within 50 miles of your home.

My engine light came on while riding but the oil light did not. I checked my preasure gauge and it was at 40 psi. I pulled the bike over shut it off and restarted it and the light went out. I then rode it the rest of the way home with no problem and no more light. Any thoughts

I have a CR250. It has a 330 big bore kit, with stroker crank. Boyesen rad valves and mikuni carborator. Kand N air filter with FMF exhaust. And I can't keep it from fouling out my spark plugs. I've tried all types of jets and it runs rich with oil in the gas. What can be causing this and how can I fix this? I use klotz mixing oil mixed 50 to 1 and required. Thanks.

I have a 1986 GSXR 1100 and it is grind when I try and start it, any ideas on what that is, how hard is it to change a starter which I assume it is and also any way to bypass the starter to make sure that is what it is. It tries to start but makes a terrible grind/screech sound when I turn the key. Please help!!! Thank you.
