I'm in the market for a new touring bike and I'm wondering how much of a difference a heated seat and grips make when riding on chilly or cold days. Are they essential, or are they just a trendy thing? Also regarding the sound systems, will I be able to hear music even with my helmet on? I saw one BMW rider who had either headphones or something in the helmet controlled by a handle bar control. Basically, what is the best way to enjoy music on a Harley?

This is a can with a wide mouth that a hose screws into. I've never used one of these before. Do you have to raise the can and tip it or is there some way to pump it?

I'm stationed in Spain and have a K 100RS that I bought two years ago here. It's european spec, but I think they are all the same where the performance/emissions is concerned. I can have it shipped to an authorized importer if they certify they will only release it to me after it qualifies for inspection and registration in the States. I only want to do this if it is cost effective for me. Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.

My boyfriend's motorbike conked out on a busy road but by sheer luck he pulled off the road right next to an Arnold Clark garage. He went in and asked the receptionist if anyone could give him a jump start - she toddled off to ask her superiors and came back saying "no problem, that will be £15".

He politely declined and phoned someone who drove out to him with a set of jump leads.

I have to ask, how on earth is this fee calulated? A jump start takes, at most five minutes, from start to finish. That would mean whoever popped out to help with the jump start would be paid a labour fee equating to £180 per hour.

Do you think this fee is fair?

Hey guys im about 5'6''-5'7'' guy, about 180lbs, and i really like the suzuki GSXR series, and I was wondering if you would recommend the GSXR-600 or GSXR-750 or another bike? I also like the Yamaha R-6 or R-1, but I it would probably leave my *** in the dust.
