5,000 to 7,000 miles on Pirelli Diablo ST's - I think they're worth replacing more often for the nice gription.
I really liked the OEM Diablo Sport meats that came stock on my bike, but replacement every 2,000 miles would break the bank for me!

3000 max, and its very bald well past the wear marks. I dont do burn outs either. Its worn out on the sides. I have the same mileage maybe 500 miles less with all these tires. Michelin Pilot Powers, Dunlop 208/209, Bridgestone 010/014, Metezler sport tech The bike is usually a R1 99/04

depending on how you ride you can get alot of miles out of a tire ...ive seen guys come in after having only 200 mile for a new one and others with 3000. but average " true" sport bike riders get about 700 with all the hard accellerating and clutching . Well that might just be all the riders around here. but other techs mostly agree.

On my SV650 I got almost 7,000 miles on a set of Dunlop D220s, but they didn't have loads of grip. I replaced them with a set of Michelin Pilot Powers which warmed up much faster and had loads of grip, but were about halfway gone in less than 3,000 miles.
My current bike is a ZZR600 that still has the stock D207s (it's only 8 months old). I'm almost to the wear marks on both front & rear, and only have about 5,000 miles on them. The grip is very good, and I think I'll go for a set of Qualifiers next or D208's if I can still find them.

Metzler Z6's front and rear on a 2002 Suzuki Hayabusa. It's a harder tire for sport-touring. My last rear tire lasted about 13,000 miles which is pretty close to the one before that. Others I've used (SporTec) have lasted for about 5,000 miles (it's a soft sport tire vs a harder sport-touring tire).

Michelin Pilot Power give incredible grip but are of a softer compound and wear easily especially when lifting the front wheel up. I would say approx 6000 miles on CBR1000RR Repsol

It all depends on your style of riding. Depends on how many burn outs I do.
