I assume you're talking about a long term storage situation, like over the winter. It probably isn't going to go over well with your insurance company, if they catch wind of this, because of the flammable liquids and potential fumes. If you drain the liquids, it should be safe. The only other problem would be if you're married. When I got my new Harley and suggested storing it inside, my wife just gave me "THE LOOK" . You married guys out there know what I'm talking about. I store the bike in an attached garage and it does just fine. Remember to trickle charge the battery.

It is best to keep it in the house .The varience in temperature and moisture is tough to deal with when you bike is left outside or even in an out side building that is not heated,it is tough on the aluminum parts in paticular. My Harley Lowrider makes a great focal point in the rec room.

Along with what everyone else said, remove the battery from the bike. Keep it in a plastic bucket to prevent any acid from leaking onto the floor. If you were to put a cover on the bucket, make sure there are breather holes to allow any acid fumes to escape. Otherwise it could explode.

If it's your house, and you are single (Or if the 'Ol Lady gives permission if hitched!) and you can get the sucker through the door, why not! You won't need to get a recliner. Just park that puppy in front of the TV and enjoy. If I could, I'd keep my FXDWG right in the living room! Starting it up in the mornings may get a bit loud, but that's why they make earplugs. Go for it. Ciao!

It's not permitted if your spouse is unfamiliar with a spark plug gapping tool, has less than 3 tattoos, or if you don't have your car propped up on at least 3 cinder blocks...if dogs sleep under your porch, you can have 2 motorcycles in the house, but no donuts in the kitchen...think of the children...

If you mean in the garage, yes. But if you mean inside the living quarters of the house I'd be careful. Many insurance policies won't pay if you have things like a motorcycle indoors and there's a fire.

It will be better for your bike...since it's in a climate controlled environment.... just don't start the bike in the house when the windows are closed. It wil also be a nice decor in your house :)

Heck yes. Make sure it doesn't leak oil, and drain the gas out of it so you don't have fumes migrating all over the house that can explode or make you sick.
