My engine light came on while riding but the oil light did not. I checked my preasure gauge and it was at 40 psi. I pulled the bike over shut it off and restarted it and the light went out. I then rode it the rest of the way home with no problem and no more light. Any thoughts

The Check Engine light can come on for many reasons. If the oil light isn't on then it isn't a oil pressure problem. If the light is off, and hasn't come back on then it was probably just a minor malfunction and isn't a problem. If it comes back on turn off the ignition, hold the trip reset switch, and turn the key back on. This will allow you to see what trouble code is set. Then check your manual, and see the description of the problem.
